Progress Report

Intro:  I am a senior at West Hills High School and in my final year of high school I am starting to plan out the next stages of my life. In the future I plan to go to college and then hopefully graduate as a Medical doctor with a specialty in pediatrics

What’s Been Accomplished:

Materials

So far I have submitted all of my college applications by their correct deadline(s). I have also completed both my SAT and my ACT and submitted the scores to my top colleges. I also have applied to finical aid.

Academics

I have passed and completed all of the required courses I need in order to graduate from high school. Excluding, Economics and Senior English. I have completed all other A-G courses. I have also completed about 15 hours of community service. 

Work

I have/had jobs in order to save money for Room and Board and also books for college, there is no much in my savings account, but at least whatever I have is better than nothing. 

What is Currently Underway:

Materials

Currently I am waiting to hear back from the colleges I have applied to. I check my email and mailbox on a daily basis to ensure I have as much time as possible to decide which college I want to attend. I also keep checking to hear back from finical aid.

Academics

So far I am currently completing and passing the two credits I need to graduate, and I am also taking three college courses in order to get ahead. Currently I am apart of the Anti-Bullying Club and the Best Buddies Club at my high school.

Work

I currently have a part-time job and a savings account where I am placing most of my money in order to pay for college and no only college, but everyday life things such as; gas, food, and social activities. 

What Still Needs to be Done for Graduation:

Materials

When I hear back from all the colleges I have applied to, I will submit the final applications and the housing applications, for I will not be living at home. I will also need to talk to my school counselor to ensure that I will be graduating on time and with all my credits.

Academics

I need to pass both English and Government in order to graduate, once these classes have been completed with passing grades then I will be able to receive my diploma. I will need to submit a final transcript to the college that I will decide to attend.

Work

Nothing in this category needs to be done in order for me to graduate. I just need to continue to save my money so that I can pay when I submit my final applications to the college that I choose, and also so that I will not be completely broke when I enter college.
